Omg do we have a treat for you today! Nadia from Mum & Daughter Blog is visiting us and she brought heaven in a bliss ball!
Hello and a huge thank you to Arie-Elle & Brooke for having me….
I am Nadia, a 28 year-old Sydney-sider, devoted and quite literally obsessed with providing information and tools to empower others in living a life of wellness; to be the best that they can!
Having always been hungry (excuse the pun) for health, fitness & wellbeing information, it made complete sense to work within this field. However what made even more sense is that I have been through it all…
From champion swimmer to heavy-smoker and partier, triathlete, pasta-addict and cross fitter to wellness writer and passionate ambassador; showing the light to those who can’t quite see it for themselves… yet!
There is not a whole lot that I haven’t seen or done when it comes to our bodies and health. Drawing on this experience and my clear understanding that we are capable of ultimate vitality; I created a health and fitness blog with my incredibly inspiring Personal Trainer Mum; Viv; bringing this message to as many people that are wanting to listen.
Awesomely, I am also about to become a first-time author! Look out for my wholefoods based recipe eBook available in a matter of weeks on iBooks.
A huge part of my journey over the past 8 years has been learning how to cook and eat wholefoods without ever feeling like I am “missing out!”
In fact if you were to ask what my non-negotiable looked like each day it would include nourishing and fueling myself. Although I like to take a relaxed and balanced approach to my eating and wellbeing in general, I avoid processed food 95% of the time with one very simple method. I make the food that I eat, myself, with my own hands, with good intentions for my body and with love.
As well as a good variety (and rainbow) of food choices each day, I look to include a solid amount of protein and fats. Not only do these help my skin glow, my hair shine and my nails grow, though they also allow me to push my body to new limits in training and feel fuller for longer!
Not bad right??
Plus most of us like the idea of a sweet treat every now and then – especially of an afternoon.
Enter…. Raw Salted Caramel Protein Balls.
